This is a young and sweet cheese with a softer texture and mottled red tomato treated rind. Production is limited to the milks of Pienza and Val D’Orcia.
The company has joined the project “latte di pecora della nostra terra” The label with the QR code allows consumers to trace the origin of the cheese through the use of a smart phone or via the website www.toscopecora.it.
