We were awarded five silver medals and two bronze medals at the 2018 World Cheese Awards, the international cheese competition which has brought together 3500 cheeses from all over the world.  This is a great result for our second participation at the competition which confirms the quality of our products worldwide. 

The 2018 edition of the World Cheese Awards took place on Friday 2 November at the festival Matnasjonen Norge in Norway, in partnership with HANEN, an organization promoting the best that the Norvegian countryside has to offer. 

All cheeses were judged by an international jury composed by more than 30 experts coming from 29 nations. 
Our five cheeses which received the silver medal are:

Il Pecorino Toscano DOP Stagionato, awarded in 2017 with the bronze medal too
Pecorino Lo Scudo di Fauglia
Pecorino Il Frescoverde 
Pecorino Marzolino Bio a Caglio Vegetale – Senza Lattosio;
Last but not least, a brand new cheese which will be officially presented at the Tutto Food 2019 in Milan. This medal confirms the success that this cheese could have once put into market.

Two cheeses were awarded the bronze medal: The Pecorino Toscano DOP, awarded with the same medal of the 2017 edition, and the Pecorino Lo Scudo di Fauglia, which was hence awarded in two different categories.
