On Sunday 1st May we were rewarded with 4 medals at the Trofeo San Lucio in the beautiful setting of Castle Visconteo of Pandino near Cremona.
We obtained a record of medals: two gold medals for the Pecorino Toscano DOP aged (recently awarded with a bronze medal at the World Cheese Awards too) and the Tre Latti Cheese; one silver medal for the Pecorino Marzolino Bio with vegetable rennet lactose free, part of our organic line Bio Busti Naturalmente, and one bronze medal for the Pecorino Metello seasoned in Garfagnana.
The Trofeo San Lucio, this year at its 8th edition, represents more than 300 among the best Italian dairy farmers and cheese makers. Besides the CaseoArt, Pandino is also home of the School of Cheese Production which gives birth to tomorrow’s cheese producers and experts. Marco Busti, son of the firm owner, studied there too.
