The World Cheese Awards is an international competition, now in its 32nd edition, where this year a record number of cheeses (a whopping 3804!) from all over the world challenged one another.
This year we have been awarded a total of 10 medals, more than the past edition!
The award-winning products of last year were confirmed: a bronze medal for the Pecorino Toscano PDO, silver and bronze for the Pecorino Toscano PDO aged. In addition to the silver medal of the 2918/2019 edition, the Tre Latti Lari with vegetable rennet obtained a bronze and another silver medal. Furthermore, the Pecorino Metello seasoned in Garfagnana mountains and the Raw Milk Pecorino Roncione won both a bronze medal. The newly-born Blu del Gregge Blue cheese, a real innovation among our products, has been awarded a silver and a bronze medal.
Last but not least: our Pure Sheep Ricotta La Pec, for the first time in competition, has won the gold!
